Job Summary

Jambrina CPA is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to maintain cleanliness and order throughout our corporate office. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, hygienic, and pleasant environment for our staff and clients. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, while also providing light administrative support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, hallways, meeting rooms, reception, and kitchens.
  • Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.).
  • Empty trash cans and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
  • Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors; clean carpets and polish surfaces as needed.
  • Wipe down frequently touched surfaces (e.g., door handles, light switches, shared equipment).
  • Clean interior windows and glass surfaces.
  • Assist with event setup and post-event cleanup when required.
  • Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
  • Provide administrative support tasks as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
  • Ensure proper closure and security of the office at the end of the shift when applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 45 lbs as needed.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
