In-Store Shopper Part Time Seasonal Join Whole Foods Market as an In-Store Shopper supporting Prime Now customer orders, preparing them for delivery and/or pickup. This role involves working with our mobile handheld technology to fulfill online orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a busy staging area and assisting customers as needed. Base Pay Range $19.00/hr – $25.40/hr (commensurate with experience) Availability Requirements The schedule is released up to 3 weeks in advance. Shifts average 4–8 hours, with priority coverage on Saturdays, Sundays, nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements Comfort using handheld mobile technology to fulfill orders. Fulfill online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency. Detail oriented with a focus on product and order accuracy. Eager to learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations. Maintain staging area organization and keep it free of clutter. Basic Qualifications At least 18 years old. Basic English reading and speaking ability. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand or walk for at least 6 hours, and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching. High‑school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Typical 8‑hour work day: stand/walk 6–8 hours, sit 1–4 hours. Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Work involves bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to FDA‑approved cleaning chemicals; exposure to temperatures ≤32°F, 32–40°F, >90°F. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Use of equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery; may require ladder use. Benefits The wage range for this position is $19.00–$25.40 hourly, commensurate with experience.
