REQUIREMENTS:

• This is an IN-PERSON POSITION. Candidates who are remote should not apply.
• Bachelor's Degree is REQUIRED.

READING AND WRITING Tutors - Huntington Learning Center is hiring in-person, part-time tutors who have expertise and experience tutoring up to SAT and ACT-level reading comprehension and grammar.

We are also looking for tutors with the abilty and experience teaching social science and humanities topics such as US History, World History, US Government, English Literature, English Lang, and similar topics.

Requirements Include:

• 4-YEAR DEGREE IS REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree is the minimum degree-level requirement.
• This is an IN-PERSON position: A candidate must be able to work in person. Candidates in remote locations should not apply.
• Certification/License a plus, but not required.
• Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in other subject areas are welcome to apply.
• Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.

• Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting, with the potential to work with 1-3 students as needed.
• There are no lesson plans to write or curriculum to develop.
