Contract Service Desk Technician

Pay: $30hr

40 hours a week , M-F

Onsite in Seattle area

Ongoing duration , potential to convert .

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods in front of a screen and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.

Travel requirements: Minimal, local travel

A Seattle skincare company is looking to hire a contract Service Desk Technician to join the team. The Service Desk Technician will provide technical, project, systems, and inventory support to the client’s users and infrastructure.

As a Service Desk Technician, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

• Ensure users receive a personable, and approachable customer service support in a dynamic setting
• Collaborate with the IT team to establish necessary processes, procedures, tools, standards, and reporting, always encouraging excellence in execution with a focus on accelerating business needs
• Communicate effectively with users to identify and resolve technical issues
• Identify and organize tickets according to service levels and escalate tickets to higher support levels
• Maintain a Knowledge Base with technical writing skills for documenting technical procedures, system modifications, inventory, and standard operating procedures.
• Support, modify, and repair computer hardware and software for end users.

What you’ll bring to the table: (Required skills/experience)

• 1-3+ years in service desk / desktop support role in an enterprise environment
• Demonstrates a proactive approach while managing competing priorities
• Service desk knowledge of installation, monitoring and support of modern technologies
• Knowledge of troubleshooting networking, hardware, and software issues
• Knowledge of networking and server environments, including Active Directory
• Proficient knowledge of Windows, Mac, iOS, Android OS etc.
• Experience supporting systems in the cloud (Office 365, Entra ID)
• Supporting corporate infrastructure
• Immaculate patience, friendliness and ability to work with users of varied technical skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond rapidly to changing demands

• Efficient organizational and time management skills
• Strong interest in continual learning
• Knowledge of Azure, SaaS, IaaS, Intune etc.
