GermBlast Part-Time Cleaning Technician - Amarillo Texas

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Cleaning Technician for Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas. The cleaning technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing:
Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces

Trash and Recycling:
Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.

Restocking Supplies:
Ensure that all restrooms are well-supplied with soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Safety and Maintenance:
Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor. Assist in maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment for staff and visitors.

Communication:
Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate cleaning schedules and any special cleaning requests. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Qualifications:
Prior custodial or cleaning experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:
This role will require approximately 30-40 hours per week and hours may vary. The work environment may include exposure to cleaning chemicals. HIPAA privacy standards must be adhered to.

Screenings: Drug Testing and Criminal Background Check

Starting pay is $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
