We are seeking a GIS Fiber Technician to join our team. Summary of Responsibilities: Maintain and manage data in various GIS systems (e.g., ArcOnline, ArcGIS Desktop, 3-GIS WEB). Use survey reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photography for FTTx project design. Communicate lessons learned to the Engineering Manager and project team. Complete assignments accurately and on time, taking direction and working collaboratively with the team. Ensure data accuracy and quality, and adhere to schedules. Submit accurate timesheets for payroll. Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork. Enter data efficiently and convert old data formats to digital. Perform installation, replacement, and removal of fiber optic patch cables. Troubleshoot, test, and clean fiber optic cables and terminations. Education and Experience: Relevant experience in GIS systems and fiber optics. Ability to handle data entry and conversion tasks effectively. Experience with fiber optic cable installation and maintenance preferred.
