Allstates Consulting Services - Fiber Optic Cable Splicer Allstates Consulting Services is seeking multiple Fiber Optic Cable Splicers for a long-term project in Alexandria, Virginia. Immediate availability is required. Responsibilities: Perform splicing of fiber optic cables, including fusion, mass fusion, and mechanical splicing, as well as terminating various types of connectors. Construct proper splicing in fiber enclosures and termination panels, including grounding, bonding, isolation, storage, and sealing in aerial and underground settings. Conduct testing using OTDRs, Power Meters/Light Sources, OLTS, and VFLs; interpret data; troubleshoot issues. Create and maintain accurate splicing schematics, records, and diagrams. Compensation and Benefits: Hourly pay rate of $27.50. Daily lodging allowance of $150.00 to $200.00. Daily meal allowance of $65.00.
