Job Description
Elementary Library Paraprofessional ESS in partnership with Kutztown Area School District is seeking an Elementary Library Paraprofessional starting immediately upon hire. This is a 10 month position, working approximately 29 hours per week when school is in session. The Elementary Library Paraprofessional works under the supervision of the building librarian.

Experience
- Experience working with school-age children in an instructional setting preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred; other languages valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build supportive relationships with students.
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural responsiveness and equity in education.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative educational team.
- Flexibility in daily assignments based on student and building needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or 48 college credits preferred.
- PA Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification - Act 24
- PA State Police Criminal History Clearance - Act 34
- Federal Criminal History Clearance - Act 114
- Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training - Act 126
