Salary:

The Custodian is a self-starter, action-oriented individual with exceptional communications skills, including follow-up and follow-through. The Custodial team oversees a large scope of cleaning projects in addition to daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning needs both inside the facility and outside of it, in addition to large scale event cleaning.

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and heart of a servant leader.
• Excellent relational, communication, and organization skills and maintains a positive, can-do attitude; values personal growth and development; and demonstrates passion for positive change/willingness to grow and change with Elevate Life Church.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats and build and maintain strong relationships. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
• Results driven, when working on a project you always look to provide the best results possible.
• Humility: our goal is not to wow the crowd, but to help create moments where people encounter Jesus.
• Team builder who can develop and lead teams with a shared goal around the mission and vision of Elevate Life Church.

SECTION 3: PROPOSED ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preventative Cleanliness
  • General cleaning and upkeep (wiping down counter tops, sweeping floors, sanitizing door handles, etc.)
  • Daily and routine inspection of building and all its areas
• Project Management
  • Responding to work orders within 30 minutes of receipt
  • Notify leadership of occurring deficiencies or needs for major cleans (shampooing, deep cleans, etc.)
  • Work with contractors for larger projects that are outsourced
• Collaboration
  • Work with area leads for any cleaning needs
  • Collaborate with Maintenance staff for event needs
  • Ensure once work orders are completed that proper communication and documentations is brought back to area leads/originators of work orders for proper follow through.

Section 4: EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
