Purpose of the role:

MHIRJs network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S. The CR&O Painter / Exterior Finisherperforms surface preparation on the repaired component, and new parts/assemblies.

Here are the daily responsibilities of a CR&O Painter / Exterior Finisher:

• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities.
• Perform all work in a safe and timely manner.
• Apply primer / topcoat / final spray.
• Perform touch ups as needed.
• Polish painted surfaces for finished appearance.
• Install sealant and erosion tape.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Heres what is required to succeed:

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year painting experience or equivalent completed vocational training (i.e., aviation, automotive or marine)
• Must have satisfactory results on Pulmonary Function evaluation in order to obtain respirator certification.
• You have formal vocational training or equivalent. (preferred)
• You have customer service / aviation work experience. (preferred)
• You have basic PC skills. (preferred)
• You have basic knowledge pulling maintenance manuals / IPCs from computer. (preferred)
• You have basic knowledge of regulations dealing with transportation of hazardous materials. (preferred)
• You have demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status. (preferred)
• You have demonstrated ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings. (preferred)

• Position requires full-time presence at ourBridgeport, WVfacility with on-site collaboration essential to role success
• 12-hours shifts on a 3/4/4/3 schedule, which includes days, nights and weekends.
