A prominent law firm is seeking a Legal Support Specialist to join their Fort Lauderdale office. This is an in-office role supporting a team of high-performing attorneys. The ideal candidate is professional, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
 About the Role 
 This individual will serve as a key point of contact between attorneys, clients, and internal teams—ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional administrative and client support. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and consistently demonstrates professionalism, accuracy, and discretion. 
Key Responsibilities
Document Management : Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
File Organization : Maintain accurate and accessible legal files.
Billing Support : Assist with time entry, billing processes, and collections.
Scheduling & Travel : Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and process related expenses.
Attorney & Client Liaison : Serve as a reliable point of contact and assist with relationship management.
Administrative Support : Manage emails and calls, handle reimbursements, and support general office needs.

Experience & Education
Minimum of 5 years in administrative or executive support roles, ideally within a law firm.
At least 2 years of legal secretary experience at a mid-to-large law firm preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
Technology Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with document management systems; familiarity with iManage or Filesite is a plus.
