Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Contract Construction Superintendent to oversee offshore projects, ensuring they are executed safely, on time, and within budget while coordinating construction, inspections, and technical reports. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of offshore platform experience, strong technical expertise in piping, mechanical, electrical, and processes, along with proven leadership in managing design changes and construction oversight.

Job Description

• Planning, directing and coordinating offshore projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
• Performing site surveys and field measurements to gather data for engineering design.
• Inspecting offshore structures and equipment to determine the need for repairs or alterations.
• Preparing technical reports of field activities, findings, and recommendations for management.
• Working closely with other professionals, such as geologists, to monitor drilling and offer technical advice.
• Ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and regulations.
• Conducting risk assessments and proposing risk mitigation strategies for offshore operations.

Skills Required

• Proven experience as an Offshore Field Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of offshore systems and equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem?solving abilities
• Ability to work in challenging and physically demanding environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• 15 years experience working with various offshore platform facilities including piping, mechanical equipment, electrical and processes.
• Overall experience in multiple management and technical engineering and design of offshore installation projects.
• Experience in implementing design changes to exiting offshore installations and construction oversight of design or upgrade changes.

Education / Training / Certifications

• BSc degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Could be from any engineering discipline, an engineering degree is required.
