We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Inspector for the Boston, MA area.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and inspections on multiple construction sites
• On-site construction inspections and testing

Qualifications

• 1-4 years’ experience in Construction Inspection
• High School Degree required
• Excel
• Word
• ACI Concrete 1
• NETTCP Soils and Aggregate
• MBTA ROW a plus
• Familiarity with construction and/or engineering concepts is preferred, but not required
• Ability to interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including but not limited to coworkers, supervisors, clients
• Retain and understand verbal and written instructions
• Ability to reason logically and make decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Will be required to write effectively to complete reports, take notes, record observations and data, and write emails and text messages daily
• Must be able to apply basic math skills for compiling and calculating data
• Need reliable transportation, a valid driver’s License, active automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record
