Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Hog Live Haul Driver to join our CDL team in Fort Recovery.

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $500 each month for the first six months. Internal candidates must commit to at least 1 year in this position to be eligible.)

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 5:00am-2:00pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $23.30 with the potential of increasing to $23.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job functions include:

Safely transport pigs at scheduled locations.
Assist in loading, unloading, vaccinating, and sorting of pigs.
Practice all biosecurity and animal handling guidelines.
Complete all paperwork and daily inspections.
Must be 21 years of age and have a Class A CDL
Must have 2 year’s driving experience, along with a clean driving record
Ability to tolerate adverse weather conditions and dusty conditions
Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
Willing to obtain TQA and PQA Training.
