To learn more, visit Job Summary Start Date: Monday, June 9th, 2025 Shift: Monday - Friday: Must be open to any shift between 10:30am – 8pm CST. It is required to work every fourth Saturday from 8:00am-4:30pm CST. Training: 6 weeks from 8am – 4:30pm CST. New hires must attend all training days. Compensation Hourly Rate: $21.50 or $25 including certification through NBC-HWC or CHES only. Role Overview The Health Coach is part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for improving individual health and wellness, and the overall health status of a client’s population. The role involves engaging and supporting members to improve lifestyles and behaviors, aiming to reduce health risks. Supervised by an Operations Coach Manager, the Health Coach will facilitate behavior change through coaching and support activities. Essential Job Functions Participate in telephonic engagement and coaching calls to inform, enroll, and support program participants. Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, pharmacists, and vendors. Support operational tasks to meet customer requirements, adhere to schedules, and manage caseloads. Attend meetings and track member progress and program efficacy. Skills and Attributes Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to motivate members and learn motivational interviewing techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and rotating Saturdays. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or 2+ years health coaching experience. 1-2 years related experience, customer service experience preferred. Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office, and telephonic communication. Knowledge of lifestyle topics such as smoking cessation, nutrition, and stress management.
