Hansen & Adkins is hiring a CDL A Local Auto Hauler Company Driver in Houston, TX to join our team and make deliveries within the following service area: TX, LA, MS, AR, OK & NM. One year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience is required and drivers can not have an automatic restriction.

HOME DAILY & MOST WEEKENDS (must be able to run 1-2 days out on occasion)– MEDICAL & DENTAL PREMIUMS PAID FOR BY THE COMPANY – NO PREVIOUS AUTO HAULING EXP REQUIRED

Compensation:

• Competitive earnings ranging from $70,000 - $80,000 annually
  • Paid % of load
• Additional Pay:
  • Safety and Damage Free Bonuses paid quarterly and annually
  • Driver Referral Bonus - $2,000
• Scheduled pay increases based on length of service

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home Time: Home daily and off most weekends
  • Must be able to run 1-2 days out on occasion
• One on One Dispatch
• Service Coverage Area: TX, LA, MS, AR, OK, & NM
• Level of Touch: Load, unload, and secure loads

Equipment:

• Late model Trucks with state-of-the art equipment, including 100% soft tie down
• Transmission: Manual
  • Drivers cannot have automatic restriction
• Governed speed: 67 mph petal & 70 mph cruising
• Inward and outward event triggered cameras

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have Class A CDL from state of residence
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer truck driving experience
  • No previous auto-hauling experience is required
• Must be able to work a 7 day work week if necessary
• Must have a good driving record
  • No driving-related suspensions or revocations in the past 5 years
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 5 years.
  • No more than 2 DOT preventable accident in the past 5 years.
• Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and road test.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Houston, TX
