Overview

TJ’s Plumbing & Heating is seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in carpentry and be adaptable to various construction tasks, such as drywalling, flooring/tiling, framing, door and window replacements, and kitchen/bathroom remodels. The Carpenter will be responsible for both residential and commercial projects, providing exceptional service while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installing structures and fixtures, and building frameworks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and install building materials, including wood, drywall, and fiberglass.
• Construct, repair, and install building frameworks and structures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
• Adaptable to working in various environments, both indoors and outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in residential or commercial renovation work
• Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and renovation best practices

• $20.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience
