Job Description
Experienced Framing / Remodeling Carpenter with Drywall Experience Wanted (5 years minimum) - Pittsburgh / South Hills Area
We are a well established construction business in the south hills looking for an experienced and efficient carpenter with a great attitude. Produces quality work and works well with others. Willing to provide and receive support from each team member.
Use of a company vehicle can be provided or you may use your own personal vehicle. Work is located in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
Candidate must also have all their own hand tools. Specialty tools (ie. radial arm saw, table saw, nail guns, etc.) will be provided.
Skills/Experience Desired:
-Works with minimal supervision
-Demolition
-Rough Carpentry (Walls and Floors) (Roof framing a plus)
-Finish Carpentry (Casing & Baseboard) (Experience with crown molding a plus)
-Drywall (Hang & Finish)
-Doors (Interior and Exterior)
-Flooring (Hardwood, Laminate and Vinyl)
-Experience with Kitchen and Bathroom cabinet installations
-Basic Plumbing, Basic Electrical, and Window Installation a plus.
Salary based on experience
Please note:
Drawings, supervision / support and laborers are provided for all phases of projects. We work as a team and and help each other out.
This position requires a valid PA driver's license.
Must be able to carry up to 75 pounds at a time.
Typical hours are M-F 7:00 - 5:00 PM with a paid half hour lunch break
Overtime paid after 40 hours / week
Paid Time Off (1 week after the first year, 2 weeks after 5 years)
