Role: Business Analyst (Primary title: Business Analyst) — USA (Remote)

About the Opportunity

A fast-growing technology and analytics services organization operating in the enterprise SaaS and cloud data analytics sector. We deliver data-driven products and automation that help enterprise customers improve operations, revenue, and customer experience. This fully remote, US-based Business Analyst role partners with product, engineering, and operations teams to turn strategic objectives into measurable, production-ready solutions.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, document and prioritize business requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform data analysis and build actionable insights using SQL and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) to validate requirements and measure KPIs.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows and wireframes; maintain requirements traceability.
• Manage product backlogs in an Agile environment using JIRA; support sprint planning, refinement, demos and retrospectives.
• Lead UAT efforts: design test scenarios, coordinate testers, triage defects and validate fixes to ensure release readiness.
• Drive process improvement initiatives through gap analysis, root-cause assessment and cost/benefit recommendations to stakeholders.

Must-Have

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting SaaS, software or data product teams.
• Proven SQL experience for querying relational datasets and building analyses to support decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboarding and KPI measurement.
• Strong requirement-writing, stakeholder-management and process-mapping skills; comfortable writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Preferred

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), data pipelines or product analytics tools (Segment/Amplitude) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are advantageous.
