ASM Global /SAVOR, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for an Assistant Restaurant/Catering Manager at the Van Andel Arena, Grand Rapids, MI.
This is a customer service focused role, for experienced bartenders that are committed to practicing responsible alcohol service in a professional environment.
Ideal Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor. They must have prior bartending experience, be self-motivated and be able to stand for long periods of times. Candidate must be personable and guest service driven.
Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty. Must follow all SAVOR policies and procedures. Must be present for all major and minor events at the Arena.
Previous bartending experience preferred.
Ability to stand and remain stationary for entire length of shift. Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions. Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds.
May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on season. May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
