Garrett Hemann Robertson P.C. is seeking an associate for our school law team, a department within our firm that works closely with district superintendents and human resources professionals to guide schools through complex laws and regulations.
We are currently seeking an associate with 1-5 years of experience, but we are also willing to consider newly graduated candidates without prior experience as an attorney. The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a judicial law clerk or other experience as an attorney;
* Excellent oral and writing skills;
* A background or interest in providing legal services to Oregon school districts;
* Experience drafting pleading, motions, or judicial opinions; and
* Experience managing civil discovery.
