Reach Forklift Driver

Reach Forklift Driver Job Duties:

1. Safely and efficiently operate a reach forklift to load, unload, and move products (such as paper, packaging materials, or other inventory) in a warehouse environment.
2. Navigate narrow aisles and tight spaces to retrieve products from high shelves or racking systems.
3. Load and unload deliveries from trucks or containers, ensuring that products are properly secured and handled with care to avoid damage.
4. Use forklift to stack materials in a way that maximizes space and maintains organization.
5. Pick and prepare orders based on customer or internal requests, ensuring accuracy in the quantities and product specifications.
6. Sort products by category, shipping requirements, or delivery zones.

1. Full-Time

Pay:

1. $18.50HR

Requirements

1. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs or more).
2. Ability to stand, bend, and crouch for extended periods while operating the forklift.
3. Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment that may require manual handling tasks in addition to forklift operation.
4. Previous experience operating a reach forklift or other material handling equipment is highly preferred.
5. Experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment is often a plus.
6. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanning devices for inventory tracking is a plus.
